How Is The Leaderboard Ranked?

Ranking is by absolute realized P&L on your competition account during the window. Realized P&L is the locked-in profit or loss on each filled sell, computed as (sellPrice − averageEntryPrice) × size at the moment the sell fills.

You have two ways to realize a position:

Sell before the market resolves at the current Polymarket bid. The order fills immediately at that price.

Hold to resolution. Within about a minute of Polymarket reporting the outcome, the platform automatically settles every held position: winning shares pay $1.00 each (100¢), losing shares pay $0.00 each (0¢). The realized P&L from that auto-settlement lands in your leaderboard total exactly like a manually-placed sell.

Ties are broken first by more distinct trading days, then by earlier signup time. To be eligible for a prize you must trade on at least 3 distinct trading days inside the window. A trading day runs from 00:00 to 23:59 America/New_York.
